Shut the loud voices and made me a living testimony
See what God did!!
Here’s to what God has done and will do in the years to come
I, a living testimony to the nations.”

Patrick Nishimwe, a seasoned worshipper who has devoted his musical career to praising and worshiping God, recently announced the release of his new single and the impending launch of his debut album, "Shammah." Hailing from Rusizi in the Western Province of Rwanda, Patrick's musical journey began in the children's choir known as "Sunday School."

Despite his initial involvement in the choir, Patrick transitioned into the realm of gospel music in 2016, captivated by a desire to deepen his understanding of worship. After a brief hiatus, he pursued formal music education at the Reformed Theological College in Uganda, honing his skills and refining his unique style.

In a recent interview, Patrick shared his vision for "Shammah" and introduced the platform "Incense Worship" as a hub for various worship-related activities, including the release of worship songs and other impactful initiatives. He emphasized the importance of remembering that worship is not just about singing but also about living a life that reflects God's glory.

As part of his commitment to elevating worship, Patrick revealed that the album would consist of seven soul-stirring tracks. He expressed his desire to create a worship experience that goes beyond mere performance, allowing individuals to connect with the divine on a profound level.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Patrick highlighted the significance of incorporating faith into every aspect of life. He attributed his spiritual growth to his association with ADEPR and Zion Temple, culminating in his current involvement with Eglise Vivante Rebero.

As "Shammah" nears its release date, Patrick Nishimwe anticipates a transformative worship experience that extends beyond the album's melodies, inviting others to join him on this remarkable journey of faith.

In the beginning of this month, Rene Patrick and Tracy, along with other artists, released their new song 'Niryubahwe'. The couple, known for their devotion to singing and praising God, wanted to start the month of February 2024 with a powerful hymn and they succeeded with this release.

According to Rene Patrick and Tracy, 'Niryubahwe' is another name for Jesus. In the lyrics, they sing about the grace and uniqueness of Jesus' name, stating that there is no other name on Earth or in Heaven that surpasses His grace. They believe that by emphasizing the name of Jesus, the song will bring blessings to the entire world.

The audio production of 'Niryubahwe' was handled by Sammy Pro, while Musinga directed the visuals and Brilliance edited the video, which was done in a live setting. This unique approach adds to the overall appeal of the song.

This is not the first collaboration for Rene Patrick and Tracy, as they previously released a song called 'Jehovah' in September 2023. The positive response to that song encouraged them to continue working together and creating gospel music.

Rene Patrick initially started his music career as a solo artist, but after two years of marriage, he joined forces with his wife Tracy Agasaro. Tracy, who previously worked as a radio journalist at Radio Rwanda (KC2), now not only continues her journalistic work but also collaborates with her husband in singing gospel songs.

The couple is part of a larger community of couples who sing gospel songs for worship and praise. Some of the other couples mentioned include Papi Claver and Dorcas, Ben and Chance, and James and Daniella.

In addition to 'Niryubahwe,' Rene Patrick and Tracy have worked on several other songs together, such as 'Arankunda' (Umunsi ku wundi), 'Ku bw’imbabazi zawe,' 'Ntuhinduka,' and 'Ni Byiza', among many others.

Overall, the release of 'Niryubahwe' showcases Rene Patrick and Tracy's commitment to their faith and their passion for praising God through music. As a couple, they have found success in working together and have gained recognition within the gospel music community.
