Bishop Prof. Dr. Fidèle Masengo, Senior Pastor of Foursquare Church, is preparing to release two new books titled 'The Grace of God' and 'Beyond Boundaries', both focusing on the Kingdom of God. The books will be launched at a special event featuring performances by renowned artists Meddy, Israel Mbonyi, Alarm Ministries, and others.
In a press conference, Bishop Masengo explained that 'The Grace of God' was written to bring God's word to all people. He stated, "Many people think they can earn their way to heaven through good works. But righteousness cannot be bought through works. By God's grace, Jesus gave us salvation that we couldn't achieve on our own."
He emphasized that salvation alone gives us righteousness and makes us children of God. "We are saved to do good works; everything we do is because of the grace we've received. The book explains that salvation is not earned, and it discusses how we should use it," Bishop Masengo added.
The second book, 'Beyond Boundaries', is aimed at both believers and non-believers. Bishop Masengo explained, "Everyone needs to believe for our lives to change. God created us with potential. This book is for Christians and non-Christians alike."
Bishop Masengo also revealed plans for an upcoming trip to the United States, from which he will return with Meddy, who has recently accepted salvation.
The book launch event, scheduled for July 14, 2024, will feature performances by Meddy, Israel Mbonyi, Alarm Ministries, and appearances by religious leaders including Apostle Migone, Antoine Rutayisire, and Apostle Gitwaza, among others.

During the event, Pastor Jean Gatabazi officially passed the leadership role to his wife, Pastor Francine Gatabazi, symbolized by the symbolic gesture of handing over a ring of responsibility.
Joy Gatabazi, known for her roles as a worship leader, recording artist, and evangelist, has been actively involved in collaborating with local gospel artists and participating in youth conferences within and beyond her church. Her dedication to spreading the message of faith and her passion for gospel music make her a significant figure in the local gospel community. The date of March 11, 2023, will remain in the hearts of many of the members of the Omega Church in Rwanda because it is the 21st anniversary of the beginning of Omega Church.
The Omega Church celebrated its 21st anniversary, where Pastor Liliose Tayi, the host of this event and its senior pastor, shared with the crowd of participants how they started, the long way they went through, including the fact that there was a time when God had prevented them from receiving tight even thanked the people who started this special work of God and returned to tell Christians that all Omega Churches are going to be called Revelation Omega Church then Omega Ministries will be the one responsible for coordinating all these Omega activities.

Church leaders, gospel artists and journalists under a union called “All Gospel Today” have joined the Ministry of Health and Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC), to raise their voices calling upon the public, especially Christians to tighten Covid-19 preventive measures.
All Gospel Today (AGT) was founded in 2013, and it brings together local gospel personalities in Rwanda and in Diaspora with the common goal of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
This campaign launched on August 11 is titled "Sindohoka."
“It’s so sad that an artist who has been entertaining people at concerts has to struggle because of this pandemic. We are all aware that there is far less investment in Gospel than secular musicians,” said Mike Karangwa, the project coordinator of Rwanda Gospel Stars Live.
“It’s not a competition, but a platform to support our artistes doing gospel music so it can change their lives. For us, this is a life-changing platform with music shows that can finally link gospel musicians and their supporters to keep them connected through entertainment” said Samuel Nyandwi, the Managing Director of Matts Rwanda services, the company organizing the event.
Nyandwi added that the concept is there to stay, with a target to expand it from a national level to a regional level and even make it continental.
Organizers of the event are currently doing awareness about the event among different gospel musicians before they announce the top ten that will take part in the first edition of the event that kicks off in the first week of June.
The 10 artists will be selected based on the experience they have in music, how active they have been, have at least two albums or at least a music video that has no less than one million views on YouTube.
They will be selected by a team of journalists, gospel musicians’ associations and music pioneers closely following the gospel music industry.
They are joined by the five most performing up-and-coming artists who will also be selected to do curtain-raising performances during the live shows which start by the beginning of July.
The shows will be broadcast live on KC2, an entertainment TV channel courtesy of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency, whereby a lineup of two top gospel artists and one upcoming artist will be performing every Saturday.
During the whole campaign, participating artists will be given numbers to which supporters can use to send their support through what is dubbed ‘vote and support’ system.
With the system, Karangwa said they are looking forward to raising funds to support artists.
People will be able to support their favorite artists with the ‘vote and support’ process by dialing *544# and follow prompts and every artist will be getting a report about the support from the ‘vote and support’ system on their emails on a regular basis.
“Like secular artistes, gospel artists also want to see their music make an impact on their lives, spiritually and financially. That’s why they need our support. The music they do cost them money and their lives rely on none but what they get from music,” said Assoumpta Muganwa, the Vice President of Rwanda Gospel Music Union.
Supporters will be able to support their favorite artists with any amount not less than Rwf200.
After the month-long performances, artists will undergo a one-week boot camp to get training sessions on music entrepreneurship and music business. With the training package, artists will pitch and present project proposals that can make an impact on the development of Rwanda’s gospel music industry.
The top three projects will get funding during the finals slated for August 29.
