Today's Prayer

August 11, 2021

BIBLE VERSE

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes. – Isaiah 52:7–8, NIV

Prayer

Lord our God, grant that we may be your watchmen, who can understand what you mean for our time. We thank you for all you have already done, for every change to the good among the nations. For the nations must bow to your will so that nothing happens unless accomplished by you. Judge us wherever necessary.

Open our eyes to see where we are wrong and where something does not go according to your Spirit. Be with us and give us strength. Raise up more watchmen everywhere, in every place and in every home. Wherever something happens to move people’s hearts, let the watchmen proclaim, “This comes from God. It does not matter how much we suffer.

This comes from Jesus Christ, who suffered and died, but who rose again.” Raise up such watchmen among young and old everywhere on earth, to the glory of your name. Let there be people who go to meet you with shouts of joy and thanksgiving.

Amen.

UWITONZE Clementine who is famous in gospel music as Tonzi she is already releasing a new song called Ubukwe(Wedding) featured with her 15 relatives.

"at this time some people use ward Nta Gikwe (No Wedding) who lied to you wedding is bad? we encourage you to set your families and believe in JESUS Christo." Tonzi said

Today's Prayer

August 10, 2021

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?...No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:35, 37, NIV

Lord our God! What can separate us from your love? Can trouble or fear or persecution or hunger or nakedness or peril or the sword? In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Dear Father in heaven, we long for courage. You will answer our prayers and again and again grant us strength, the power of your Spirit, the only power that can strengthen us. We thank you for all you have done for us. Help us onward from victory to victory until everything on earth is won for the good, to your honour among all humankind.

Amen.

Long before you go to No. 1 with his genre-defying signature hit, there were years when it was questionable whether Kirk Franklin would even survive.

Abandoned by his parents when he was 4 years old, Kirk was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, by an elderly aunt. With finances being tight, the two collected cans and paper to be recycled and used the money to pay for piano lessons. Apparently, those music lessons were well worth it. At age 11, Kirk was appointed minister of music, leading the adult choir at his aunt’s church.

1. Speaking of Hot
Kirk confesses, “I’m still not where I want to be in my walk, but I’m in hot pursuit of Him.”

2. Turning Up the Heat
No matter how he dresses, Kirk always leaves an indelible image. Foremost fashion faux pas:  dressing for an outside venue when the service was held indoors.  It wasn’t just the music that was hot.

3. Well-Versed
Currently, Kirk is tuned into Proverbs 3:5. (Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.)

4. Extended Family
Technically, Kirk is a solo artist; but he always travels with a posse of stellar singers and musicians. In his search for talent, he looks for people with “great hearts. It always starts with the heart of the person,” Kirk says. He views his relationship with his ensembles as one of being “a big brother or father figure.”

5. Safe at Home
Yes, Kirk is a natural performer; but he’s also at home, at home. “My desire is to be a passionate father and attentive husband,” he asserts. He loves going to movies and Chuck E. Cheese’s with his kids to “watch them have what I never had.” While most gospel music is based in Nashville, Detroit or Los Angeles, he remains true to his roots in Dallas. “It’s all I’ve ever known.”

Today's Prayer

August 09, 2021

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20, NIV

Lord our God and our Father, we praise you because we are allowed to have community together in the name of Jesus, who has opened our eyes to see you and who has promised to be among us when we are gathered in his name. May our hearts remain unshadowed, even when our lives seem to grow difficult and the future looks dark. Protect us whenever we are tempted and have battles to fight. Deliver us. Make us free people who know we belong to you and who are allowed while still on earth to have a share in eternal life. Amen.

To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.
Job 6:14 - KJV

“What should you say about gospel music? “ Luck asked.

Luck NZAYIMANA asked this question to Bruce Melody before IWACU NA MUZIKA  Festival 2021 Stage this Saturday, August 7, 2021.

“it’s really cool and good music. I think that time will come also for me to work on it. Let’s leave about religion. Do you know that sinners people enjoy gospel music? It means that gospel music is more than religion and more than preaching. If you hear a piece of gospel music it directly blesses your soul. No one can push it in you it comes in you directly. when you hear an artist sing and serve GOD it makes you happy, Bruce said.

"And I wish everyone to know that I have some gospel music songs I didn't release yet. Time will come I will serve God I Know that”, continued Bruce Melody.

Let us remind you that IWACU NA MUZIKA FESTIVAL is on its third edition and being broadcasted live on Rwanda TV. This Edition will feature some of the biggest Rwandan gospel artists alongside secular ones. The names of the artists are not yet released by the organizer but promised to have more gospel artists performing on the IWACU NA MUZIKA FESTIVAL stage than last year's edition.

More info on this to come.

Today's Prayer

August 07, 2021

Holy God, forgive me for being caught up in the lifestyle of greed and covetousness, of excess and extravagance. Help my heart to be content with the blessings you have so lavishly poured out on me and to find my joy in you and your people whom you have put into my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
